great class...brings the subject to life...field trips were fun and
interesting..  

I took this class a couple of years ago but felt obliged to write a review
since there were none.
Even though this class is called archaeology, it really was more of a
physical anthropology course with an emphasis on how modern archaeology
techniques and reasoning are used to uncover how a peoples/group lived. 
There is really a lot to remember for each test but Mr. Bertrando does an
excellent job of constantly making it interesting and encourages class
interaction.  It was obvious from the start that he really loves this
stuff.  After a couple of weeks, everyone was really into it.  You also get
to go across the highway to do a little field work which was cool.  I would
definitely recommend this instructor and class.
