yes fal was sort of poinless if your an independent learner. it brought my
grade down for not going and honestly i think i allways did better when i
just tackled stuff on my own. even if you dont get it, keep trying or youll
never learn if you cant on your own. braun was really entertaining for me
because of her accent,loved it! she really cares about teaching and wants
everyone to get it even if it means emialing and bugging her endlessly.
hard to get and a but you can do it if you try and care. 

Dr. Braun is awesome. I really enjoyed having her as a teacher and would
recommend her. 
Study hard and do ALL the homework because it gives a good idea about what
will be on tests. I'm pretty sure the problems on tests that I missed were
the exact problems I skipped on the homework.... 


FAL is sort of pointless sometimes, BUT interacting with other students
gave it a more competitive feel when after test we'd all compare scores.
I'm competitive so it made me strive for complete accuracy, which really
paid off. 

The labs are pretty much awesome too. Lots of fun chemicals. lol

Ms. Braun is a really nice teacher and she is willing to help you out if
you ask. However I think sometimes she forgets that most of her students
have very little to no chem background and she tends to jump to a new
concept without making sure everyone is understanding. Also she is very
soft spoken and spaeks with an accent so she can be difficult to hear and
understand sometimes. If you take her class make sure you sit in the first
three rows otherwise you will be straining to hear the lecture.

Great teacher. Excellent preparation for Chem1A with Baxley. She always
made time for her students and the lectures are pretty small. Only
complaint is the weekly, hour long FAL is a waste of time for some people
and ends up being a portion of your grade. It's easy, though. But, I guess
thats not her fault since its part of the curriculum. Good class

Dr. Braun teaches a straitforward chem class.  Her requierments are
reasonable and very reachable.  By taking her course you will be prepared
for CHEM 1A.
