This teacher is extremely nice, enthusiastic, and devoted to her students.
She always has a smile on her face and is excited to learn about her
students. She turns every comment someone says into an 'excellent point'
and is concerned about input we can give to help her improve her classes.
As far as the class goes, the material basically teaches you about yourself
and being okay with it, as well as using that information to find a
major/career that is right for you. However, I believe that the class can
be condensed into at most an hour meeting each week. There isn't much
material to go over so the lectures get a bit slow because she reads every
word on the handouts as if only to take up time. The homework and class
assignments given are easy and not very time-consuming, but perfect for
helping you get to know yourself.

Linda is the most awesome teacher ever! This class is all about
understanding yourself so you can figure out a major or career that will
fit you best. I was at Poly for two years in a horrible major for me, so I
jumped at the chance to take this class. Every single class meeting, she
has taught me something invaluable. She isn't so worried about grades -
granted, you need to participate, but the work is about you, so you pretty
much want to - but she is very interested in her students. This is
naturally a very personal class because it has everything to do with what
makes you the person you are, but she makes the entire experience easy and
open. Take this class, definitely - even if you think you know exactly
what you want to do - and jump on the chance to take her as the teacher.
She is seriously the best teacher I have ever had.
