nice and caring and is so into what she is doing. She makes me want to be a

Just like everyone else on this page Trica is by far one of my favorite
teachers i have had and yet the semester isn't over with. I would recommend
taking every ECE class with her. She explains her material straight forward
and doesn't make it complicated. She will always respond back to you in
email. Overall she is just fabulous! I wish ever teacher at cuesta could be
more like Trica Bramsen:) |

Trisha is Amazing! She is so appreciative of your effort in your work, and
very understanding to each students personal situation. If you impress her
she will talk you up. Easy and FUN A. Its an easy A because as long as you
try, she will give you the credit. I definately reccomend her! She even
talks you up to other teachers! |

Tricia is very enthusiastic about children's literature! She loves to
teach, and she loves students who are interested in ECE. If you are
interested in this subject, you will love this class. |

Tricia is an absolutely wonderful teacher! She is so organized and she
comes to class prepared to teach a thought provoking lesson every single
day. I have never seen such a hard working teacher. She cares so much about
every single student and is a joy to be around. She is very down to earth
and has a great sense of humor. Every class with her was fun and her
assignments are very well tailored to the class. I love how well she
prepared for classes and the enthusiasm she feels for teaching really
shines through every day. I completely recommend taking any class you can
with Tricia! She is such a gem! |

Trish was a pleasure to work with, her class was fun and she understand the
kid at heart in all of us. She doesn't take herself or her class overly
seriously, and is very positive. Her tests were simple material learned in
class, and we often worked with a partner on those tests. Our final
assignment of making a children's book was fun and interesting, and i would
recommend her for any ECE class or ECE 34 |

she is so nice!!!! she is very understanding and is willing to work with
you if you miss classes. i had a blast in this class..........dont take it
if you truly have no interest in teaching because this class basically lets
you know how to teach pre-schoolers to use play dough and set up your
playground according to safety regulations. |

Sweet Class! So much fun in terms of diggin up some old favorite kids
books you forgot about. Bramsen is very fun and flexible, very nice lady.
-NOTES: Pretty general, its been a while but i remember her using
powerpoint or the over head alot, but notes are pretty simple.
-QUIZES and TESTS: Very easy, multiple choice for the most part, for our
class we had groups, and if you think the answer is all of the above, it
is! She likes to give questions with "all of the above" answers.
-CLASS: basically, you talk about a certain type of childrens lit. in class
one day (picture books for example)and she will lecture a little on it,
then show you some examples or read you a book. Then your homework is to
go to the library and check out a few of that type or book, fill out a
simple evaluation sheet for one of them, and then you will discuss your
book in groups in class the next day usually. SIMPLE.
-READING: you are required to read two short books (ours were "Bridge to
Terabithia" and "Castle in the Attic") and you are tested on those books,
but they are easy, both book and test.
-FINAL: I remember it being just like the other tests and pretty easy.

I took Bramsen for ECE 34 during the summer. I can honestly say it was the
least I have ever had to work for an A. I was nervous at first when I saw
the syllabus which stated a 95% was needed in the class in order to get an
A though was comforted when I found out that all tests (even finals) are
group open note. Homework was simple and the final project was to create
your own children’s book. She is one of the nicest teachers out their. Our
class even pitched in to get her a present at the end of the semester. I
would recommend this class and teacher to everyone. |

Tricia is a very fun teacher, and she covers her subject very well. She's
easygoing and understanding. The class is very interesting and enjoyable,
and homework can be fun, not difficult at all, and if you do it all, you're
sure to get an A. |
