Though she taught us a lot and our voices really did gain better quality by
the end of the semester, she was a bit condescending all throughout the
semester. There were some people with unique voices in the class and she
suggested to one girl that she change the way she talked so that she could
sing better. I agree with the last critic, she takes herself a bit too
seriously for teaching an introductory class, but the class does help. Once
you perform songs that hardly anyone could sound good singing in front of
your entire class 5 times, you can pretty much do anything.

Ms.Anderson is very serious about music and singing, really she takes
herself a little too seriously to be teaching an introductory music class.
However she does know the theory, and if you pay attention and put in just
a small amount of effort you can really learn a lot about singing and
really you'll find you become a better singer throughout the smester. You
do have to sing about 5 songs alone in front of the class. The first one is
bloody awful, the second one is much less terrifying and by the third song
you are comfortable and just having a good time. It's easy to get an A in
this class if you just come every day and show up on time. She grades the
solos pretty easy to. As long as you just get up and sing your song you're
pretty much garaunteed a B, and if you sing halfway decently you'll get an
A.
