haha you can tell who didn't do well in his class...

probably the easiest teacher i've had. um..i dont know what the person was
saying a few below..cause the quizzes are 10 points and all you have to do
is the study guide..and you'll get an A on the quiz. his tests are like
long quizzes. most of the lecture is watching documentaries and
stuff...which is wayy nicer than listening to some teacher ramble. theres
seriously nothing to complain about. just do what he says and you're gonna
get an A.

A real MFer HATES STUDENTS BASICALLY SELF-CENTERED AH

Great teacher. He has a very subtle sense of humor, but most people didn't
get it because it was so early in the morning.  He does give a lot of
quizes (almost every chapter), but he gives you the questions before hand
so if you just answer the questions in the study guide you will ace all the
quizes.  His tests are easy too, he ends up asking a lot of the same
questions over and over again just worded differently.  He does really know
his stuff and he has lots of interesting experiences.  The videos, for the
most part, are enjoyable and the video evaluations are basically free
points.  I would definately recommend Balfour for this class.

He's a great teacher.  He knows his stuff, the work and tests don't require
too much studying--as long as you follow along in the book you're good to
go.  This class covers many interesting topics, the concert evaluations are
easy and enjoyable, and the hardest assignment is to write a review (fill
out a pre-made sheet of questions) a documentary on a specific composer. 
This class was interesting plus he's a great guy. 

i think he is a great teacher...he is really funny and sarcastic, but he
does take role and that sucks. Otherwise, he's pretty good but the quizes
are kinda long and you actually have to study

If you are going to take this class...get a different teacher.  He doesn't
give you notes, he takes role, you only watch movies, and he only talks
about himself and his traveling.  He is not a good teacher and will put you
to sleep.
