Miss Brown was a nice, caring teacher and she was always willing and
helpful with answering questions. However, her lectures go to full time,
she talks about stuff that has nothing to do with the tests or quizzes, and
it is very hard to get an A in the class. Part of your grade is attending
class for group activities and showing up for pop quizzes (they're 5
quizzes). The tests are a little challenging and full of trick questions.
The book is completely unnecessary. The study guides are the key to success
in this class. You probably won't do well on the tests if you study the
book. Miss Brown is also a little nit-picky when it comes to your Diet
Analysis Summary so beware. If you can, take a more exciting teacher. If
you can't, just work really hard at her class, show up, and you'll pass
just fine. |

She is really nice and is always willing to help out students who have
questions. However, the classes were usually extremely boring because she
goes off topic alot! You don't need to read the book because the quizzes
and tests come from the notes. She also doesn't believe half of the things
that the book says so there is no point in reading. She likes to put trick
questions on the tests even though she claims that they aren't hard. She
said my class was her smart class, yet our test averages were usually Cs
and Ds. It is very hard to get an A (I did, but only one other person got
one). The good thing is that there is practically no homework (worksheets
that take five minutes to complete-no joke). I learned some good
information, but I was super excited when the semester was over! If you are
going to take NUT 210, make sure to always study the notes!! |

I liked how she was very organized with her lectures. She didn't skip
around like some professors seem to do. The tests were pretty easy as well
as the homework. The only thing I didn't like was when we had to keep track
of what we ate for 3 days and had to enter it in a computer program and
print out the results. I could never find the food I was looking for since
the program's so old. But other than that it was a pretty neat class. |

Teacher is very organized. Nutrition 10 is a science class more than a
health class. Class material can get difficult and technical. Teacher has
many written and visual aids to help you learn the material and keep you
organized. Don't miss class and you will have a good chance at getting a
good grade. |

She is an okay teacher. The class is not very interesting, unless you are
majoring in Nurition. She uses the very helpful course outline that you
have to bring to class everyday, expect test days and she has the class
take a test on 4-5 charpters, which i don't like. She isn't very personal
and doesn't socialize with the class. But if you like that sort of thing,
go for her. |

I took her distance learning class which was nice since I could work at my
own pace without listening to her lecture. She has a very dull voice that
is hard to listen to. She is also vague and somewhat unorganized. I felt
no closeness to her. In fact it felt as if I were alone with my computer
and a difficult to manage computer program site. |

Her class is pretty easy, alot of extra credit offered. Her lectures are
pretty boring though. Everything is in the notes and it really isn't
helpful to come to class. You can learn everything from the notes. There
is this horrible software program that you are required to use to analyze
you diet over a three day period. It is a waste of time. You can't find
any foods in the database so she is always telling you to substitute
something else in its place. What's the point then, I don't know. |
