I strongly disagree with anyone who thinks this class is an easy A. This
teacher does NOT teach. He is soo old that he confuses himself. The first
review is correct in that you MUST read the book AND do the homework or you
WILL be lost. I would almost recommend not going to lectures because he
gets his own examples confused and he leaves you unsure if whether or not
you are solving problems correctly or not. Basicly, this teacher is awful
& if you HATE going to lectures and have a really good handle on trig and
physics, then go ahead and take his course. And if you do attend lectures,
do not be suprised when over half the class drops.

I disagree with the last responce. His class is easier than other teachers
because he actually TEACHES instead of just assigning work and giving a
couple examples. He applies it and tries to make it interesting. If you
want to get a grasp of physics and its framework he's a good teacher. If
your a slacker you probably won't learn regardless of the teacher so i'd
ignore the other responce. He does offer extra credit and his grading
scale leans well towards the students. Compared to other instructors it
was refreshing to have a teacher who actually seemed like he liked teaching
and wanted his students to pass.

If you want an easy A and not learn too much physics, this is the guy for
you. Unless you already have a pretty thorough understanding of phyiscs you
won't learn much in this class by him. I suggest reading the book on your
own and just doing the bare minimum. I failed every test but with extra
credit I'll be able to get an A in the class.
