Take Babu's class.  He's the best teacher at Cuesta.  If you are trying to
be a nurse like me, chem 211 helps more than any other class I took so far.
 Babu is really helpful, hilarious in class, but yes, a little tough on
tests.  He helps you out in lab though, so you can learn a lot and do well
if you figure out that you have to be in lab and ask a bunch of questions. 
I think he is a great teacher, but everyone will have their own opinion I
guess.

saw 1a reviews here and on other sites.  suprised they're bad because i
liked him more than most other teachers at cuesta.  funniest thing is that
he used a ton of powerpoint in 211 and 210--almost too much, but he did a
lot on the board too.  he's prepared, no question.  guess taking 1a in the
summer says a lot. second time? seriously tho, he's helpful if you follow
the rules.  skip class or lab and forget it. 

I took his summer class chem 1A in 2009.  I am not impressed by his
teaching.  He is not prepared for the class, no ppt whatsoever, just make
some notes on a piece of paper and write on the white board.  His test
questions either were too easy so everybody in the class gets a very good
grade, or too hard so that most people feel terrible about.  He is not a
good teacher at al; he does not encourage student to learn.  He is very
good to make you feel bad about yourself.  Even I got a A in that class, I
don't recommend anyone take his class.
